The home made solutions for toothpaste and mouthwash given here can enhance your teeth and freshen your breath. For your own toothpaste, you can combine antiseptic, anti-inflammatory essential oils, such as tea tree peppermint, together with mild abrasives like salt, clay and baking soda. Your homemade toothpaste can be very effective and may remove plague, control tartar, keeping your gums healthy without any harmful effects of chemicals.

Homemade toothpaste, mouthwash

The most commercial and usual toothpaste contains chemicals and additives like fluoride, saccharin, and sodium lauryl sulfate. In large doses may be very toxic.

Homemade toothpaste can be made like these prescriptions:

Toothpaste

Five teaspoon of baking soda

A quarter(¼) teaspoon of salt ( using as antiseptic and abrasive )

Five teaspoon of vegetable glycerin ( used as main ingredient )

Ten drops of peppermint or spearmint that will give a fresh breath

By mixing all ingredients and adjusting the right quantity of glycerin to get a toothpaste consistency.

Toothpaste for sensitive teeth

Half cup of vegetable glycerin used as base ingredient

Half a cup of cosmetic clay ( mild abrasive )

About 35-40 drops of tincture of myrrh; the reason for gum inflammation

About 7-8 drops of peppermint or spearmint to gain a fresh breath

About 7-8 drops of clove essential oil . The intention of this ingredient is for toothache, similar to a  mild anesthetic

Mixing all ingredients and adjusting the prescript quantity of glycerin to get a toothpaste consistency.

The purpose of homemade mouthwash will help you to eliminate unlikely breath and promote overall mouth and gum health.

Mint mouthwash

One cup of water

A quarter (¼) cup of soda drink

Four drops of vegetable glycerin

One teaspoon of aloe gel

Ten drops of peppermint or spearmint

Boil water and combine soda, glycerin and aloe gel. Remove from heat and let it until it cools down having a similar room temperature. At the end add peppermint or spearmint and make sure to shake well.

A simple homemade mouthwash

Using your fingers wash your mouth with half a glass of warm water that  contains a teaspoon of table salt.
